focus on the goats

so much love and care

Feed them water and leaves

Before your breakfast

Buying their medicines

Before your Benadryl

They listen to your voice 

Obey your words

They feel your anger

And walk fast to shed

You wake half night

Till they deliver babies

You weep for a week

If anyone goat dies

It returns you Pan, rice, grams, oil, 

vegetables, chappel, and respect

They helped you

To  educate your children

To raise up the kids

To marry them off all three

Gifting them on pongal

Family Customs fulfillment

A whole life spent with goats

More years than with a husband

More years than with children

Teach even when no one notices

Take class when no one compels

Go to college while others enjoy

No, enjoy in the name of election

Go to election duty when required

Go to teach another day

Men and women equal

Yes in cheating of duty

Two months election

Ten  days training

Fifty days in the home

No guilty at all about

Syllabus exam knowledge

Time money stress

All being ignored

Why all not honest?

Why only a few honest?

Forgot to switch off the gas

The cooker was going to burst

The child was sleeping deep

Fumes smelt in the staircase

Trembling fingers rang the bell

DTC was speed and approaching,

Microseconds to die

Yet you were there saving me !!

Returning from RERA

Driver fell asleep

About to hit a divider

You came in a cycle and fell for me

Saved from accident!!

The car door was fully open with

Licence RC PLC Insurance papers

Yet it was not robbed!!

What a sincere Gaurd you are !!

Tears raining down at your feet
